- FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION A wonderful collector grade B-5, BB-65. Light to moderate, problem free wear is seen on the surfaces. Warmly toned and nicely defined devices are quite pleasing to the eye. This die state has a large lump over the IC in AMERICA and this planchet has a minor flaw at the rim at 7:00 on the obverse. PCGS 34, NGC 6 (NGC has 38 in unattributed XF40 also). The most recent example to sell was an NGC coin that brought $7,200 in the 2021 ANA auction, the last PCGS coin was sold in June 2019. This coin is higher quality and more visually appealing than either of those. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $11,500. This is another pleasing early dollar from this collection that will excite any early dollar collector. Cert. Number 83023777 PCGS # 6861
