1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-44. Rarity-1. Noyes Die State B. Head of 1794. AU-58 BN (NGC). This is the late state of the die marriage with the reverse cracked (as made) from the border between the words STATES and OF to the letter N in the word ONE. A sharply struck piece with only minimal rub in evidence, both sides exhibit even dark-brown color. There are no troublesome abrasions, but we are compelled to mention a bit of light porosity to the reverse, especially at the upper-right border.
