The details were boldly rendered from an exacting blow from clashed dies and on a striated planchet. These artifacts of the minting process add to the charm of this tiny jewel of a coin! With only 22,000 examples struck, this date is scarce in all grades, and VERY RARE in this or finer grades. PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 7.
