- 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter. AU-50 (PCGS). Blushes of reddish-gold toning enhance otherwise light silver-gray surfaces on both sides of this key date Standing Liberty quarter. Appreciable luster remains, both sides also offering plenty of bold striking detail throughout the design. A paltry mintage of 52,000 pieces makes this one of the most eagerly sought 20th century U.S. Mint issues irrespective of denomination or type.
