The 1961 ranks alongside the 1962 and 1963 as one of the highest mintage Proofs of this type. While survivors of this 3,028,244-piece issue are certainly plentiful in an absolute sense, precious few can compare to the present Ultra Gem in terms of quality or eye appeal.
