Richly toned with a warm pastel iridescent patina on both sides, the subtleties of the coloration come out as the rich watery reflective mirrors catch the light. The mirrors are generally smooth and free of all but the tiniest hairline or two, without those, this coin would likely be an 8! Thickly frosted devices stand out against the mirrors, especially on the reverse which is like a headlight! Amazing and very highly eye appealing! Only 762 Proofs were struck. PCGS 17, NGC 22, CAC 11. PCGS has graded four in PR67+ CAM. This coin brought $6,756 in our June 2019. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $6,500.
