- GREAT BRITAIN. Coronation of James II Silver Medal, 1685. James II (1685-88). PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder. 34 mm; 15.35 gms. Eimer-273; MI-I, 605/5. By J. Roettier. Laureate, draped and armored bust of James II right; Reverse: Laurel wreath on cushion, hand extending from cloud on top holding crown. The official coronation issue. Some even wear to low relief design with no major signs of contact. Glossy deep graphite toning throughout with one diffused lighter area in center of reverse. Estimate: $350 - $500.
