- GERMANY. Nurnberg. Reichstaler (Taler), 1745-PPW. Francis I. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. Dav-2483; KM-307. An alluring city view type, featuring the rayed Eye of Providence above. Deep cabinet toning, with some underlying luster throughout. Though appearing in European auctions, this issue is seldom offered to the American market. A great opportunity to acquire an especially choice specimen. At one time Dave planned to visit various European towns and cities with views on tokens, medals, and coins, but this did not happen.
