- IRELAND. 6 Pence Gun Money, 1689-Feb. James II (1685-91). NGC PROOF-50. S-6583KK; KM-93a. An attractive survivor of this VERY RAREemergency issue in silver (versus the typical brass), displaying moderate gray color with soft golden toning accents and only a touch of visible wear on the central highpoints. Nicer than most with all examples we've seen showing at least some evidence of past circulation. Estimate: $2,000 - $2,500.
