FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION This is a great looking, wholly original GEM example of this Antebellum Proof Seated Liberty half dollar. Flashy, watery textured reflective mirrored fields are evenly and attractively toned in pastel peach-rose in the centers and soft lilac-blue at the peripheries. Sharply struck and the eye appeal is especially bold. Only 800 Proofs were struck. PCGS 10, NGC 20, CAC 3. Only one CAC-approved example has ever sold in auction, an NGC-graded example that sold in our September 2021 Regency Auction. There has not been a PCGS-graded PR65 sold since March 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $5,500. We suspect this coin will bring a very strong bid when it crosses the block. Cert. Number 30358632 PCGS # 6413
