1723 Wood's Hibernia Farthing. Martin 1.1-Bc.1, W-12240. Rarity-5. D:G:REX. MS-62 BN (PCGS). 62.5 grains. Splendid quality and eye appeal for the modest grade with the color a blend of light tan with a few random flecks or red and satiny luster throughout. The strike is sharp on all the devices, particularly the reverse. A few trivial nicks on the Georgius's chin and jaw and the reverse has a thin die crack (from clashing) through NIA 1 to the rim above. A trouble free, appealing example of this scarce die pairing.
