- The 1920-D is a conditionally RARE issue, especially in the Full Band designation. Boldly struck for the date, this impressive GEM has full definition, even in the centers. The central band is fully separated, and Miss Liberty is sharply struck and nicely frosted. There are no serious marks, as you would expect of a coin in this grade and the eye appeal is SUPERB! PCGS 24, NGC 8. The last NGC-graded example to sell in auction was back in May 2012. The Hallett coin sold in our September 2018 Regency Auction for $5,053 in a PCGS holder. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,500 and anything finer will cost into the five figures at NGC. This is a wonderful GEM for any collector. Cert. Number 3319216001 PCGS # 4931
