This impressive near-GEM has a fantastic pedigree and technical quality to match. Regardless of die marriage, there are just three finer at PCGS, a single MS65 and two in MS66. A fabulous coin that has been called GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED in the past. A beautiful example of the date and type, the surfaces are satiny smooth and boasting a bold underlying brilliance, highlighting sensational sea-green and deep blue toning. Needle sharp striking details are seen on both sides with every detail crisply rendered from an exacting blow from the dies.
