(t) CHINA. Sinkiang. Sar (Tael), Year 6 (1917). PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. L&M-838; K-1265; KM-Y-45.1; WS-1318. Variety with large wreath and without rosette. Displaying a better than average strike with instances of deep toning around the designs on the wreath side. An approximately 20° rotation is also obverse between the obverse and reverse dies. As a variety, far more SCARCEthan the type with a rosette. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
