- CANADA. Lower Canada. Silver 1/2 Penny Token, ND (ca. 1812). PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. WE-11A3; BR-987. Oblique edge reeding right. Single finest certified of the variety on the PCGS population report. A lovely well preserved and original example with rich old cabinet tone displaying mottled deep golden-smokey color in the open fields which highlights the slate patina amongst the devices. A colorful iridescent sheen flows over the surfaces displaying a plethora of hues that accentuate the intricate design features.
