This coin is tied for FINEST KNOWN at PCGS! Exceptional superb mint state surfaces are satiny and lustrous, both sides are razor sharp in strike. Very light iridescent toning can be seen on both sides. The eye appeal is wonderful! This date is generally common, but in SUPERB gem grades it is quite scarce, and with a full strike, as here, VERY RARE. PCGS 2, NGC 3. None have sold in auction. The Collector's Universe Price Guide lists a value of $15,000 in this very lofty grade.
