- 1850-O Liberty Head Eagle. Winter-2. EF-45 (PCGS). Dusted with pale pinkish-silver tinting, this otherwise honey-gold example is boldly defined for an early New Orleans Mint ten with appreciable remnants of original luster. From a mintage for the issue of just 57,500 pieces, the vast majority of which saw heavy commercial use. Given the rarity of Mint State survivors, upper end circulated examples such as this are in high demand among serious Liberty Head eagle and New Orleans Mint enthusiasts. PCGS# 8605. NGC ID: 2639.
