- FRANCE. 100 Francs, 1862-A. Paris Mint. Napoleon III. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. Fr-580; KM-802.1; Gad-1136; F-551. Mintage: 6,650. Uncommonly high grade for this large denomination issue. The surfaces are uniformly lustrous across each side and undisturbed by notable abrasions; a small rim bruise at 2 o'clock perhaps prevented an even loftier grade.
