- JAPAN. 20 Yen, Year 4 (1915). Osaka Mint. Yoshihito (Taisho). NGC MS-62 Prooflike. Fr-53; KM-Y-40.2; JNDA-01-6. JC-09-6. The only prooflike graded example of the date certified by NGC, this example glistens and gleams in the light, with sharp details that are clearly struck to a standard beyond even the lofty levels that are normally seen on Osaka Mint products. The fields provide mirrorlike reflectivity, and when held at the right angle an almost cameo appearance pops from the flan. Prooflike Japanese issues are exceedingly elusive and always demanded, and we consequently expect much competition to be the next owner of the beaming golden treasure.
