- MEXICO. Mint Error -- Struck on Wrong Planchet -- 50 Centavos, 2019-Mo. Mexico City Mint. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. cf. KM-936. The production fifty centavos has been stainless steel since 2009. The holder states this example is struck on a copper-nickel planchet but it looks very much like brass to us. No marks, a bit of light haze on the reverse. Estimate: $100 - $200.
