This is an outstanding example of the "key" date for the series. We do agree this coin is a full 63.9+! We could see some people actually think it could grade MS64 here-it is that nice. For a MS63, this coin has remarkably above average surfaces. We see the more common dates that are not this clean. There are just a few light frost breaks and scuffs you need to work hard to see. Nothing stands out save for one tick on the eagle on the reverse (it is NOT major). A full booming luster beams vividly from all over. Both sides are a wonderful and totally original orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and really stand out. Considering this is only an MS63+, the eye appeal is remarkable! PCGS 5, NGC 6, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 2 MS63+ pieces and neither has ever been sold at auction. In 2016, Legend sold the other MS63+ for $125,000 to a dealer. We also sold the lone CAC MS64 PCGS piece for over $200,000 in 2013 and it is locked away in major collection. If you seek a really special 1920-S, we assure you, this coin is it. The quality and eye appeal are all there and then some! We can easily see this coin setting a record price. Cert.
