- GERMAN EAST AFRICA. 1/2 Rupie, 1891. PCGS MS-66 Gold Shield. KM-4; J-712. Sharply struck with clear definition of the fine details, lovely satiny surfaces with fantastic cartwheel luster. Beautiful smokey pale blue translucent patina on the obverse while the reverse displays an attractive smokey russet with tinges of blue that pop out when tilted in the light. A spectacular example with excellent eye appeal. Estimate: $350 - $500.
