Bust of Napoleon right, inscription: "DEFENSE / DE EMPIRE" to left and right, "L' EMPEREUR PART DE PARIS / LE XXV. JANVIER MDCCCXIV" in two lines of tiny letters below the bust; Reverse: Marie Louise left, wearing coronet. "MARIE LOUISE IMP. / REINE ET REGENTE" to left and right. "XXIII JANVIER MDCCCXIV" in tiny letters below the bust. Fully struck and highly reflective with attractive russet accents. Estimate: $400 - $600.
