- (1925, poster issued ca. 1932) Printed in Russia for film's export re-release, probably to Belgium. 26 x 32" Framed. Folds. Fine.<BR><BR>One of the most acclaimed Soviet films of all time, <I>Battleship Potemkin</I> made Eisenstein an internationally renowned film figure. The scene shown in this poster depicts an actual incident in the Potemkin revolt -- a sailor who complained about being forced to walk the plank. A wonderful opportunity -- we have not seen a poster for this epic Russian film. <BR><BR>Museum mounted under UV-3 plastic with barrier boards and Chartex, muslin or linen backing. <BR>Estimated Value $600 - 700.
