CHINA. Cash Error, ND (ca. 1897). PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder. Blank brass planchet with square hole punched out. Produced by the Ferracute company in New Jersey. Interesting that this piece went through the manufacturing process, but was never struck. Mottled patina. Interesting and sure to add depth to the next collection it enters. Estimate: $300 - $500.
