详细说明: Ex Denali Collection, as noted on the insert. This is an old friend, a beautiful 1915 Proof Barber quarter that ranks near the top of the pop, that we have had the honor of selling before. We welcome this coin home and hope to see it reside in another world class Proof Barber collection! This is a simply STUNNING SUPERB GEM example of this final Proof Barber date. The mintage of 450 is one of the lowest in the series, and this one is among the absolute FINEST graded examples at PCGS. This PR67+ has all the attributes that advanced collectors demand from their coins. Ultra flashy mirrors beam from all over with a watery reflective sheen that dazzles the eye. A lovely layer of totally original toning has a very unique pattern that is a delight to behold. Multihued, iridescent pastel tones are brought out when viewed in a light. Sharply struck devices and icy smooth mirrors are flawless and pristine. The eye appeal is amazing.+ Only 450 Proofs were struck. PCGS 16, NGC 16, CAC 10. PCGS has 8 PR67+s on their Population Report but we feel there has to be some duplication of submissions. As said, we have sold this coin before, in June 2019 (at $10,575) and August 2020 (at $9,106). The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $11,000 and no PR68 (Pop 2) has ever sold in auction.
