- GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (ca. 1250-72). Canterbury Mint; Nicole, moneyer. Henry III. PCGS MS-62. S-1368A; N-992. Long cross type, class 5b2. Crowned facing head; Reverse: Voided long cross, with trefoils in angles. A bold strike is quite clear on this specimen, with very little evidence of weakness. Lightly colored with a lustrous silvery appearance, with some earthen highlights underlying the general color. The best example of the type slabbed by PCGS. Estimate: $300 - $500.
