- 1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-2a. Rarity-2+. Normal Head. Small Edge Letters. EF-45 (PCGS). CAC. A lovely Choice Extremely Fine example with totally ideal medium to dark brown surfaces that show no marks or roughness of any consequence. Excellent strike, too, with the designs of both sides fully and evenly impressed, and the border dentils complete save for a small area on the reverse from 3 to 5 o'clock. Manley Die State 3.0, with clash marks from the reverse wreath visible around the obverse portrait. An exceptionally pleasing coin to represent the type, date, or variety.
