- A truly stunning GEM, just on the cusp of a SUPERB GEM classification. Everything about this high end Proof is sublime. Rich rose, blue, and gold toning is suffused with gentle hints of tangerine are brought to live by a bold, watery reflective mirrored finish to the fields. The devices are sharp, and offer a slight contrast. Clearly the eye appeal is tops! Only 725 Proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 11, CAC 3. This one of two graded PR66+ at PCGS and there are just three finer, none of which have ever sold in auction. This coin sold over three years ago in an online auction for $2,600.
