- CHINA. Tibet. 1/2 Tangka, Year 58 (1793/4). Ch'ien-lung (Qianlong). PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, VF Details. L&M-638A; K-Unlisted; KM-C-66.1; WS-0198. An EXTREMELYRARE issue, with less than 10 having been certified by PCGS. The details of the design are strongly impressed, and very little technical wear is presented on the surfaces. Some encrustation and buildups likely account for the designation by PCGS, though these buildups are not obtrusive. Given that the last example of this type that we were able to locate at auction was offered in 2018, it may be quite some time before another example surfaces for the advanced collector to acquire.
