- BURMA. Pe, CS 1214 (1852). Mindon. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. KM-6.4; Robinson & Shaw-11.7B3. Variety with two dots omitted from denomination. Tied for finest certified of the date with one other example, also in this sale, on the PCGS population report. VERY RAREin this state of preservation and as such highly sought after. A lustrous little gem, crudely engraved and with medium gray toning. According to Robinson and Show this variety is recorded with a slightly higher silver content of 0.9147 as opposed to the normal 0.9075 fine. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
