A beautiful Proof, one that before the days of third party grading would have been called a GEM! Deeply beaming mirrors have a rich, watery reflective brilliance. Wonderful teal-blue toning graces both sides. This coin is richly toned, but not dark and the toning does not obscure the depth and clarity of the superb mirrors. The eye appeal is tops, we don't know why CAC did not bean this beauty. Only 625 Proofs were struck. PCGS 48, NGC 35. RARE finer. The current Collectors Universe value is $950. This truly eye appealing example should sell for a strong bid. A set of Proof Seated Liberty dimes at today's levels seems like a good deal, especially if they look like this! Cert.
