- Ex. Sonnier Collection. Swirling cartwheel luster rolls over both sides of this superb gem. The obverse displays a vibrant golden-apricot color while the reverse is blast white and untoned. This coin is the PCGS CoinFacts.com plate coin. PCGS has assigned the # 518863 for 1881-CC dollars remaining in the GSA holder. Currently there are 11 coins graded under that number in MS66+. Only two have ever sold in auction, the most recent bringing $3,055 in July 2016. That coin, being blast white did not have the allure of this gold toned GEM.
