详细说明: This is a wonderful, borderline-SUPERB GEM quality three cent silver Proof. Struck in the final year of the Civil War, only 500 were produced for collectors. Deep beaming mirrors are generally without flaw and are wonderfully flashy with a bold watery reflection. The devices are thickly frosted and stand out with bold Cameo contrast on both sides. Obverse and reverse are both richly toned with wonderful blue and dappled iridescent shades. Exquisite eye appeal makes this GEM a wonderful example for the Civil War or three cent silver specialist. Only 500 Proofs were struck. PCGS 6, NGC 5, CAC 3. NGC has graded 2 in PR66+ CAM. No CAC PR66+ CAM has sold in auction, but we sold two PCGS PR66 CAM CAC coins in 2020, realizing $4,935 and $8,225. The Collectors Universe value is listed at $8,500 for PR66+ CAM. There are just six finer at NGC, all PR67 CAM. Bound for a wonderful set, and we expect strong bidding. Cert.
