- Rare First Year 1738-V Sou Marque Variety 1738-V Sou Marque. Troyes Mint. Vlack-190a. Rarity-8. AU-58 (PCGS). 35.2 grains. An extremely rare Vlack number, the first year of issue for the denomination from Troyes, but the reverse engraved with a stop after de la Tour's différentinstead of a lozenge. This piece is mostly warm golden-gray in color. The centers are a little rough, as expected, but overall detail is sharp and there are no sizeable blemishes. Full silvering.
