FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION A lower mintage issue, with only 25,900 struck for circulation, this date is RARE in GEM and finer grades. The present example was clearly hand selected for its great eye appeal and quality. Bold, radiating luster blooms all over, highlighting the sharply struck devices. Totally original, both sides have some minor flecks and pale iridescent gold tone that attest to the originality of this important piece. PCGS 30, NGC 20, CAC 4. Only one CAC-approved example has sold in auction, realizing $3,565 in July 2017. The current PCGS value is $3,600 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $4,250.
