- 1863 Washington Portrait / Eagle on Globe. Fuld-120/434 a, Musante GW-585, Baker-467. Rarity-9. Copper. Plain Edge. MS-64 BN (NGC). 19 mm. This token displays medium brown patina throughout. The obverse has blended steel-blue iridescence, and both sides retain blushes of original pinkish-apricot in the protected areas around some of the design elements. Lightly struck in the centers, yet fully lustrous with a softly frosted texture. A thin, vertical graze on Washington's portrait is the only obvious impediment to an even higher numeric grade.
