- (t) CHINA. Sinkiang. 5 Mace (Miscals), AH 1332 (1914). PCGS EF-40 Gold Shield. L&M-770/771. Mule. Evenly presented with pale tone over surfaces that have avoided all forms of heavy contact. A VERY SCARCEissue that is determined by the rendering of the ٣٢ which is aligned on the crossed flags and the rosette (instead of a dot) in the center on the Chinese character side. While labeled as a mule between L&M-770 and L&M-711, this issue isn't a pure mule of the types illustrated in L&M. While there is a central rosette like L&M-771 on this coin, the floral arrangement around the legends is quite different, making this piece somewhat of a hybrid type. Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
