A SUPERLATIVE quality coin, extremely well struck and very nicely preserved. Satiny smooth surfaces have a radiant luster. Every detail is sharply and crisply impressed by an exacting blow from the dies. All the windows along the facade and around the base of the dome are as sharply rendered as the steps. A hint of color is noted as you rotate the surfaces in the light. EXTREMELY RARE so fine, and UNIQUE FINER. PCGS 8, NGC 0. The most recent PCGS MS66 FS sold in April 2016 for $8,225 and the unique MS66+ FS sold in our December 2019 Regency Auction for $13,513. This date is so RARE in such a high grade that the Incline Collection in our July 2020 Regency Collection only contained an MS65 FS.
