From the first grouping of its issue struck at the Paris Mint for Uruguay, this blast white near Gem piece is in an excellent state of preservation for the issue. The vast majority of pieces are either heavily circulated, cleaned, or damaged, making this piece tied for second finest with just one finer at PCGS. The strike is exceptionally bold for the issue and the fields are free of the chatter found on lower-grade Uncirculated examples. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
