- FRENCH INDO-CHINA. Piastre, 1898-A. Paris Mint. NGC MS-64. KM-5a.1; Gad-35; Lec-280. An incredible near-Gem, this crown exhibits just a few subtle and seemingly inconsequential marks in the central field on the reverse. Nevertheless, the overall eye appeal is quite stunning, leaving this specimen wanting of a superlative designation in some way. Vibrant iridescent toning accentuates the peripheries of the obverse, while a lighter golden nature populates the edges of the reverse. Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
