- Massachusetts--Boston. Undated (1829-1833) Farnsworth, Phipps & Co. HT-162, Low-314. Rarity-3. MS-63 BN (NGC). A warmly patinated copper-rose example that also sports bold striking detail and ample remnants of a satiny finish from the dies. This popular type spans the Early American and Hard Times token series, and it was struck by Wright & Bale in New York sometime during their partnership (May 1829 to October 1833).
