1871 Octagonal $1. BG-1104. Rarity-4+. Liberty Head. MS-63 (PCGS). The A's in CAL and DOLLAR and the G in GOLD are defective, and the CAL and GOLD are entered too far to the right. This piece offers semi-reflective surfaces with a small amount of lilac-purple patina on each side. Striking softness is noted at the central regions.
