- This overdate is very scarce and in mint state is rare. As the only overdate in a popular and short series, it is often collected as part of a full set. This choice MS example has rich tan/russet overtones, with a brilliant copper-nickel gold satin sheen that accents the devices. There is a little weakness in strike, as normal. There are a few minor ticks here and there that account for the assigned grade. PCGS 27, NGC 19, CAC 5. There are 32 examples graded higher, with MS65 the highest grade. These do not appear at auction with any frequency, the last MS63 CAC approved example sold in June 2013 for $8,338. The most recent example realized $9,400 in June 2016.
