详细说明: We are honored to offer one of the FINEST Sesquicentennials that exists! There are none graded finer by PCGS and this coin is SPECTACULAR! As a type the Sesquicentennial half dollar, with its dished fields often comes with shallow, soft strikes and lack luster surfaces. It really is interesting to consider that despite a generous mintage of 141,120, relatively few survive in GEM grade, and NONE have graded in the SUPERB grades. WOW! This is the opposite of what a typical Sesqui looks like. An intense flashy semi-reflective luster is vivid and dazzles the viewer. A blush of iridescent and pearlescent pastel toning graces the surfaces mostly near the peripheries, but flowing in toward the centers also. The strike is sharp on both sides, particularly on the reverse, where the bell lines are full and crisp. The surfaces are delightfully free of all but the most microscopic of contact marks, none worthy of mention. This MS66+ is certainly closer to a 67 than a 66! PCGS 21, NGC 36, CAC 9. There are 4 in MS66+ and NONE FINER. The only other one to sell in auction brought $21,600 in August 2020. The current Collectors Universe value listed at $24,000 and with its fantastic eye appeal and awesome quality, it may sell for more.
