详细说明: 1832 Capped Bust Quarter. B-2. Rarity-2. MS-64 (PCGS). Rich steel gray patina with intermingled antique gold and cobalt blue highlights. Both sides are sharply struck with a smooth satin to softly frosted texture that is perhaps just a bit too subdued to warrant an even higher Mint State grade. The two known die marriages of this issue share the same obverse, their reverses distinguishable by the size of the arrowheads. B-2 is the Short Arrowheads variety, and it is a bit more plentiful in numismatic circles than its B-3 Long Arrowheads counterpart. In keeping with the standards of the Capped Bust quarter series, however, the 1832 as an issue is conditionally challenging with high grade Mint State pieces scarce to rare in today's market.
