THE PERFECTION COLLECTION OF CAPPED BUST QUARTERS
What an AMAZING, fully PROOFLIKE brilliant B-4. Placed well within the Condition Census, this is a truly GORGEOUS example that looks like it just came off the dies. We note that Proofs were struck of this die pair, and this coin was a very early striking from the freshly prepared dies.
Every detail of William Kneass's "refined" design is crisply struck up and fully rendered by an exacting blow from the dies. Totally untoned and blast white, both sides are fresh. Clearly the dies had a fresh polishing. The frosted texture of the dies contrasts boldly against the flashy reflection of the fields. The surfaces are clean, the flashy, reflective Prooflike surfaces are intensely brilliant. Even with a strong glass, the surfaces do not show a single mark or scuff of significance, or anything that would mar the outstanding overall visual allure. Housed in an old green tag holder, this coin has a truly SUPERB look.
