Multiple WOW factors are only part of this coin’s appeal. It is simply awesome! No question, this monster borders on a full MS67 grade--we believe all that keeps it from that designation are some scattered microscopic frost breaks that can only be seen with a strong glass. The texture of the surfaces is satiny smooth. There is a strong satiny like luster. Both sides are bathed in an outrageous and totally original even layer of gold/orange gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and every detail is sharply struck. The eye appeal is off the charts awesome! PCGS 39, NGC 41, CAC 16. This is the coin that sold for $28,800 in January 2022. Its owner tried it several times seeking a +. Obviously no luck. You just do not see coins of this caliber any more.
