- 1748-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-28. Rarity-8. First Semester. VF-25 (PCGS). 25.3 grains. This is one of the two or three rarest dates of the denomination from the Paris Mint (1752, 1753, and maybe 1759 are the others). Medium gray-brown in appearance, the surfaces are a bit rough in areas, especially on the reverse. The legends are fully legible, however, and most of the central features are bold.
