This is a great example of a historical and great CC date! We do agree it is worthy of its +. Above average surfaces have thick satiny texture. There is one SMALL scrape on the lower right obverse, which is probably what keeps it from an MS66 designation. The luster is a strong glowing type. Both sides enjoy a totally original white color. This coin has never been messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is really nice! PCGS 30, NGC 30, CAC 14. PCGS has graded just 2 coins in MS65+. NONE have been sold via auction. The current Collectors Universe Value for this date and grade is $24,000. The last PCGS MS65 CAC) to sell in auction brought $19,200. And in 2018, an MS65 (NO +) sold in auction for $17,037. This coin is much closer to an MS66 than a MS65! Be ready! Cert. Number 50048311 PCGS # 5297.00
